This series is an impressionistic view of a world that I feel I can never fully visit. I'd really love to be a fish. I've met many very friendly fish when I was skin diving on the Barrier Reef. I actually believe fish are extremely happy creatures and that they live in one of the richest, most aesthetically pleasing environments in the world. If fish could take pictures, or make art, they would probably do it all day, because there is just so much to offer down there.

I don't know how to Scuba Dive, and so the underwater world still remains a mysterious place of dark fantasies. Some of my work reflects this mystery. I intend to explore it more, and will extend the series next Summer when the lily pond is flowering again.

I'm also glad about these works because they put a new slant on the traditional (and done to mega-death) Waterlily shot.

There are five photos to view.

Waterlily I

Waterlily II

Fishyfish

Waterlily III

Waterlily IV
