I call my photographs paintings, probably because I am used to this word from childhood, but also because unconsciously I feel that they are actually paintings.

I work in both colour and B/W, using movement and depth of field to influence the painterly effect of the works. Some of it is very abstract, some of it is obviously photographic, but all my work is designed to speak to the unconcious tides of emotion that ebb and flow within us.
